ISB was proud to sponsor the Second International Conference and Exhibition on e-Learning and Quality Education at the Zain eLearning Center, University of Bahrain. This conference was held on April 28th to the 30th in Manama Bahrain. The conference covered issues on how e-learning contributes to quality assurance of education, training and output. There was also an exchange of experiences with associations specialized in academic accreditation of e-learning, and quality assurance standards.
Mr. Hanny Alshazly, Vice President, Business Development was invited as a keynote speaker and presented the session entitled “Strategic eEducation” through which he explained why institutions should place learning technologies at the core of their academic mission. He also discussed the necessary planning and implementation phases needed for organizations to deploy institution wide eLearning and how the appropriate technology to mission alignment will help them achieve their overall academic goals.
