ISB is pleased to announce that Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE just signed a contract to be the first institute in the Middle East to implement WebCT Vista Enterprise.
The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) have been using WebCT for several years and recently chose WebCT Vista Enterprise to be the backbone of their strategy for student growth, online expansion and the facilitation of individualized learning. In addition to WebCT Vista Enterprise, the Higher Colleges of Technology has implemented several of ISB’s e-learning products to support their e-learning mission and initiatives. Products such as course Genie and Respondus help improve HCT faculty’s ability to go online with WebCT. HCT also supports its faculty by maintaining the largest number of WebCT Certified Trainers in the region with ov
er twenty Certified Trainers on staff.
HCT publicly signed the WebCT Vista agreement at the e-Merging e-Learning conference held on November 19th - 21st at the Abu Dhabi Men’s College (ADMC). The e-Merging e-Learning conference brings together e-Learning professionals from around the world to present and discuss the challenges of delivering quality e-Learning; making this event the ideal venue to announce HCT’s implementation of WebCT Vista Enterprise. An annual event, since 2002, this year’s conference focused on the latest technology and pedagogy for e-Learning and the role of technology in the public/private education systems.
