ISB was proud to sponsor the 2nd Annual Forum on e-Learning Excellence in the
Middle East organised by eTQM College. The forum was held on the 26th
to the 29th of January 2009 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, United Arab
Emirates.
The 2nd Annual Forum on e-Learning Excellence in the Middle East focused on
four main elements related to the planning and implementation of e-learning:
Inspire, Innovate, Initiate, Impact.
This annual forum held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education
and Scientific Research, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, brought together
e-Learning professionals from around the world to discuss the future of
education and e-learning, development and implementation of e-learning in both
the academic and corporate world.
The forum was host to speakers from the region and around the world, with
keynote addresses from Mr. Elliot Masie, head of the MASIE Center USA, Fabrizio
Cardinali, Chair of Giunti Labs Europe, Dr. Robert Wisher, Director of Advanced
Distributed Learning USA Department of Defence, and many others.
ISB has had a long standing relationship with eTQM College, which is currently
using ISB’s leading live collaboration tool, Wimba Collaboration Suite. ISB’s
exhibit showcased its world leading products, including: Blackboard Learn,
Wimba Collaboration Suite and Echo360 Lecture Capture.
The e-Learning Division at ISB, Knowledge House, has been successfully
implementing learning solutions and services at numerous educational and
vocational institutions throughout the Middle East for years.
They offer a complete suite of products and services that allow educational
institutions, ranging from K-12, Higher Education, Vocational and Corporate
Training centres (K20) to experience seamless network-based learning.
